This role is responsible for the startup, commissioning, and servicing of building special systems, including performing point‑to‑point checkout and verifying proper system operation, alarms, and annunciation in accordance with project and code requirements. The position supports installation teams, coordinates with other contractors, and troubleshoots system issues during installation and service phases. Responsibilities also include providing technical input for design, estimating, and training, maintaining software backups, supporting existing systems to ensure code compliance and efficient operation, and assisting with documentation such as as‑built drawings and O&M manuals. The role collaborates with operations, service, and sales teams, participates in project turnover, completes required documentation, and is available for on‑call emergency service support as part of a rotating schedule.
