System Software Engineer - Distributed Computing
About The Position
KLA’s Semiconductor Products and Customers business unit develops inspection, metrology, and analytics systems for semiconductor manufacturing. The LS-SWIFT division delivers high-throughput patterned wafer inspection systems, providing defect detection and macro inspection capabilities for advanced packaging, logic, memory, and automotive applications. The System Software Engineer - Distributed Computing will contribute high-impact work in their area of expertise to advance business priorities. The role calls for software programming expertise, knowledge of design patterns, software architectures and technologies, and strong data structures and algorithms skills.
Requirements
- Technical expertise in programming languages such as Java, C#, C++, Python, or JavaScript.
- Strong understanding of design patterns and programming skills in at least one high-level language: C#, C++, or Java.
- Good knowledge of open-source software and varied web and thick-client technologies, including an understanding of the strengths and weaknesses of their software architectures.
- Strong understanding of data structures and algorithms.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Motivated to learn new skills independently.
- Creative thinker with good problem-solving abilities.
- Master's degree with 0 years of related work experience, or bachelor's degree with 2 years of related work experience.
