About The Position
The System Software Engineer will contribute to business priorities by delivering high-impact work in distributed computing and system software. The role involves applying programming expertise, software design principles, data structures, algorithms, and knowledge of software architectures and technologies. The position is within KLA’s LS-SWIFT division, which develops patterned wafer inspection systems for advanced semiconductor manufacturing.
Requirements
- Master's degree with 0 years of related work experience, or bachelor's degree with 2 years of related work experience.
- Programming expertise in one or more of Java, C#, C++, Python, or JavaScript; strong programming skills in at least one high-level language such as C#, C++, or Java.
- Strong understanding of design patterns.
- Knowledge of open-source software and varied web and thick-client technologies, including the strengths and weaknesses of their software architectures.
- Strong understanding of data structures and algorithms.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Motivation to learn new skills independently.
- Creative thinking and good problem-solving abilities.
