About The Position

We are seeking an experienced System Operation Engineer to join our team. The role involves providing L2/L3 application and production support, ensuring the smooth operation of our systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in incident management, experience with various operating systems and databases, and a good understanding of cloud fundamentals. This position requires excellent communication skills and the ability to independently drive efficiency improvement projects.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of work experience
• Core Experience: Application / Production support (L2/L3)
• Excellent communication skills
• Experienced Production support resource
• Good working experience in Windows / Linux-based platforms
• Sound Database skills (MySQL / Oracle / Mongo DB)
• Experience in Incident management
• Exposure to monitoring tools such as AppDynamics, Splunk
• Understanding of Cloud fundamentals (GCP / Azure)
• Ability to self-start and independently drive efficiency improvement projects
• 5+ years of Systems Engineering, Technology Architecture experience, or equivalent
• 4+ years Observability monitoring tools (App Dynamics, Thousand Eyes, ITRS, Splunk)
• 4+ years Windows/Linux operating systems
• 4+ years of application production support experience
• Outstanding problem solving and decision-making skills
• Ability to prioritize work, meet deadlines, achieve goals, and work under pressure in a dynamic and complex environment
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment
• Cloud initiatives (preferably Microsoft Azure or Google Cloud Platform (GCP))

Nice To Haves

• Preferable background in the Banking / Risk domain
• Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
• 3+ years of SQL experience
• Ability to manage initiatives involving process improvements
