About The Position

Hospital Sisters Health System (HSHS) is seeking a System Manager-Grants Office to join our team. The System Manager-Grants Office leads all grant writing functions for all of Hospital Sisters Health System (HSHS) and Hospital Sisters of St. Francis Foundation (HSSFF). Managing all aspects of the grant process, this leader will manage systems of identification, assessment, submission and tracking as appropriate for public, private, corporate, industry or government grant support. This role also prepares individually as well as leads grant coordinators to submit complete and compelling applications and proposals to secure approved grant funding; manages the proper disbursement of grant payments, as well as the completion and submission of post-award reports; and successfully maintains positive relationships with and between internal leaders, grant recipients and funders.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, communications or a related field is required.
  • Minimum of 3 years supervisory/team lead experience required.
  • Download speeds must be at least 20 Mb or higher.
  • Upload speeds must be at least 6 Mb or higher.
  • Latency/Ping must be under 100 ms.

Nice To Haves

  • High school diploma or equivalent plus 5 years of experience in grant writing, philanthropy, fundraising or communications may be considered in lieu of degree.
  • 5 or more years of grant-specific fundraising experience preferred.
  • 3 years demonstrated leadership experience may be considered.
  • 100 Mb or higher download speed is preferred.
  • 10 Mb or higher upload speed is preferred.
  • Under 60 ms latency/ping is preferred.
