About The Position

Client is seeking a Systems Integration & Test Engineer to support the planning, implementation, integration, testing, documentation, and maintenance of in-house developed and COTS/GOTS components, subsystems, and systems. This role focuses on developing and executing system test solutions that align with technical, schedule, and cost requirements. The position supports complex electro-optic sensor solutions for military platforms and involves subsystem and system-level integration, test execution, analysis, validation, and reporting in a production environment.

Requirements

  • 4 to 6 years of experience with software development using C, C++, and/or LabVIEW.
  • 4 to 6 years of experience supporting production environments.
  • 6+ years of experience in test equipment design.
  • 6+ years of experience in electronic testing.
  • 6+ years of experience in mechanical testing.
  • Active Secret Security Clearance required prior to start.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with LabVIEW, LabWindows/CVI, and National Instruments (NI) technologies in both development and maintenance of complex systems.
  • Strong software development skills in C and C++ combined with Automated Test Equipment (ATE) hardware integration expertise, including switches, VXI/PXI chassis, electro-optic testing, and automation.
  • Experience developing and maintaining automated test equipment in a high-volume production environment.
  • Experience supporting electro-optic sensor solutions for military platforms.

Responsibilities

  • Plan, implement, test, document, and maintain solutions for the integration and testing of hardware and software components, subsystems, and systems.
  • Translate customer requirements into effective system test solutions while considering technical, schedule, and cost constraints.
  • Establish functional and technical specifications, define input/output parameters, and resolve hardware and software interface issues.
  • Develop and execute comprehensive test plans, procedures, and schedules for complete systems and subsystems.
  • Coordinate subsystem and system testing activities across programs and organizations.
  • Analyze test results and prepare subsystem and system-level evaluation reports to verify and validate performance.
  • Create discrepancy reports and perform integration regression testing to verify and validate implemented fixes.
