About The Position

This role is for an Engineering Manager who oversees the technical work and manages the people and finances associated with assigned Projects. The position involves performing engineering assessments of Naval Surface Combat System Computer programs, planning and overseeing engineering projects, budgets, and expenses, and coordinating with NSWCDD project leads.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science in an STEM related discipline (math, physics, computer science, etc.)
• 7 years experience in System Engineering for Naval Surface Combat Systems
• Experience with Forensic Data Analysis of computer programs
• Experience with Navy Review processes
• Experience with managing budgets
• Experience hiring and managing engineers
• Experience leading an engineering team
• Experience interfacing with government clients
• Minimum Clearance Required: Secret

Nice To Haves

• Familiarity with Aegis, SSDS, LCS, DDG1000 Combat Systems
• Familiarity with Aegis Display System, Command & Decision, Mission Planner computer programs
• Ability to develop tactical computer program enhancements/corrections
• Ability to develop analysis tools to automate analysis activities
• Ability to perform Business development
