System Engineer
About The Position
Stefanini Group is hiring! Stefanini is looking for a System Engineer at Various Locations (Hybrid Role). This role is responsible for the planning and engineering of an organization's systems infrastructure, including the implementation and design of hardware and software. The System Engineer will monitor the performance of systems. This position typically requires a bachelor's degree in area of specialty and 4-6 years of experience in the field or in a related area. Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field, this role relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks, may lead and direct the work of others, and a wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in area of specialty and 4-6 years of experience in the field or in a related area
- Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field
- Experience building highly available servers end to end
- Strong understanding of end to end stack including tools and agents
- Ability to coordinate technical experts to complete work
- Ability to problem solve and quickly switch tasks
- Ability to oversee a large number of server builds in various stages
- Ability to communicate with technical and non technical experts
- Ability to produce strong, clear status reporting for technical audiences
- Ability to deliver high level reports for leadership
- Ability to influence to achieve desired results
- Ability to lead and provide direction and tasks to engineers and technical experts
- Experience with IBM AIX, Linux, Websphere and Oracle
