About The Position

Under the direction of the Manager of Evidence-Based Practices and Outcomes, the position will coordinate trainings and strategies to address local workforce needs in community behavioral health. As a member of the clinical department, the position will provide technical and clinical support to the ADM Boards network of care and collaborate with ADM Board staff to accomplish departmental and agency goals and objectives.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree in social work, psychology, counseling, education or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience working in the behavioral health field required.
  • Ability to document identity and employment eligibility within three (3) days of original appointment as a condition of employment in compliance with Immigration Reform and Control Act requirements.
  • A valid driver’s license and current automobile insurance.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience supervising preferred.
  • Licensed Social Worker (LSW/LISW); Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC/LPCC), preferred

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for planning and executing trainings, workshops, webinars, seminars and other professional development opportunities. This would include securing continuing education credits (CEUs) for participants.
  • Supports the system clinical workforce development needs in the arena of Evidence Based Practices (EBP’s).
  • Investigates, evaluates and coordinates effective strategies that support the advancement of best practice in behavioral healthcare.
  • Develops and maintains relationships with local and state workforce development stakeholders and partners (e.g. Ohio Means Jobs).
  • Coordinates with ADM Board staff and other community partners and stakeholders to develop an onboarding training for individuals entering employment within the network of care.
  • Partners with local schools and universities to develop a pipeline for careers within community behavioral health.
  • Works assigned schedule, exhibits regular and predictable attendance and works overtime as required to meet workload demands.
  • Effectively oversees assigned projects and ensures project management tools and practices are utilized.
  • Represents the ADM Board on state, local and system-wide initiatives.
