About The Position

The System Controller uses analytical and quantitative methods to understand and enhance warehouse processes, with an emphasis on automated picking and warehouse management systems. The position is based at the Canton, Mississippi facility and is exposed to warehouse and occasional outdoor conditions. It involves minimal travel among facilities in Mississippi and Kentucky and to conferences or training seminars related to automation and maintenance.

Requirements

Valid driver's license.
High school diploma or GED.
Five years of related experience, or a related technical degree or certification with related experience.
Time management and task-tracking skills.
Ability to use company-provided resources and technology.
Analytical, planning, organizing, problem-solving, strategic-thinking, and technical skills.
Ability to retain and know CBG SKUs.
Interpersonal and written and verbal communication skills.
Computer skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Vertiview, CMMS, and WMS.
Follow the authority to stop work when an unsafe situation or instance is present.
Do not use personal mobile devices while working or within a safety-sensitive area.

Nice To Haves

Experience in the beverage automation industry, such as Vertique.

Responsibilities

Understand and follow all safety requirements, including JSA and LOTO, and maintain a clean, safe working environment using 5S.
Analyze the movement of goods through the automation system, monitor processes, identify process gaps, and develop improvements to optimize the automated system.
Identify problems and develop recommendations that support warehouse management planning and operations.
Identify and troubleshoot system issues, including jams, faults, and mechanical failures, to minimize downtime.
Coordinate with Warehouse Supervisors to resolve employee performance issues.
Work with a high level of urgency within the automation system for extended periods.
Learn CBG SKUs to resolve operational issues effectively and recommend system changes for SKUs or system optimization.
Follow CMMS work request systems, including work orders, preventive maintenance, and installing QR codes on facility and warehouse assets.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Work some overtime periodically.
