About The Position

The Systems and Plumbing Installer is responsible for installing plumbing, jet, and air system components across the jetted and air bath tub lines, as well as plumbing and safety systems for the walk-in tub line. This is a combined, cross-product role: the position works across multiple tub platforms rather than a single dedicated line, and is accountable for ensuring that every unit leaving the installation station is complete, correctly plumbed, and leak-free before advancing to quality testing. This position is classified as Non-Exempt under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) and is eligible for overtime pay in accordance with applicable federal and Oklahoma state law. This role is designated Safety Sensitive due to the use of power tools and pressurized testing equipment, and is subject to the additional safety and testing requirements described below.

Requirements

  • Working knowledge of basic plumbing principles, fittings, and sealing techniques.
  • Ability to read and interpret work orders, diagrams, or assembly specifications.
  • Proficient and safe with hand and power tools, including drills, wrenches, and torque tools.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
  • High attention to detail to ensure leak-free, fully functional installations.

Responsibilities

  • Install plumbing lines, fittings, and connections for jetted tub and air bath tub systems according to work orders and product specifications.
  • Install jets, jet bodies, air injectors, and related hardware into tub shells.
  • Install air system components, including blowers, air lines, heaters, and control valves, for air bath tub units.
  • Install plumbing, drain assemblies, water fill lines, and door/seal safety systems for walk-in tub units.
  • Ensure all fittings and connections are properly sealed, torqued, and secured prior to testing.
  • Safely operate hand tools, power tools, and pneumatic equipment required for installation tasks.
  • Maintain adequate parts and materials at the workstation; report shortages to the Production Supervisor.
  • Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition and report malfunctions promptly.
