About The Position

Doug Anderson Plumbing & Heating is seeking an experienced Plumbing & HVAC Installer to join our growing team. This position is ideal for an installer who is comfortable completing both plumbing and HVAC equipment replacements in residential homes. We're looking for someone who takes pride in quality workmanship, works well with customers, and wants to be part of a company that values doing the job right.

Requirements

Experience installing both plumbing and HVAC systems
Strong knowledge of residential mechanical systems
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record

Nice To Haves

Massachusetts plumbing and/or HVAC licensing
Additional licensing and certifications, such as Massachusetts Journeyman Plumber, Massachusetts Master Plumber, EPA, Section 608 Certification, Massachusetts Refrigeration Technician License, OSHA 10, or OSHA 30
Experience installing equipment such as Standard Water Heaters, Tankless Water Heaters, Boilers, Furnaces, Central Air Conditioning Systems, or Mini Split Systems
Able to independently complete residential plumbing and HVAC equipment replacements with minimal supervision

Responsibilities

Install standard and tankless water heaters
Install residential boilers
Install furnaces
Install central air conditioning systems, including condensers and evaporator coils
Install ductless mini split systems
Perform complete equipment replacements from start to finish
Ensure all installations meet manufacturer specifications, local codes, and company standards
Maintain a clean, safe, and professional jobsite
Communicate effectively with homeowners and fellow team members
