About The Position

Kwik Trip’s Network Services Department has an opening for a System Administrator. This position involves working independently as well as on a team to provide operational support of Kwik Trip’s systems. Responsibilities include assisting with the implementation and support of server and application environments, planning, coordination, and execution of upgrades, migrations, conversions, and implementations, managing and administering security updates, utilizing Kwik Trip’s incident, problem, and change management tools to manage ITIL processes, and serving as the Team’s escalation point, providing initial triage of incidents and requests.

Requirements

• Associate degree in Information Systems/Network Systems Administration or equivalent combination of education and experience is required.
• Experience related to server and infrastructure management, with specific focus on the setup and maintenance of servers and applications within a virtual environment.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Windows client and server operating systems
• Experience with Office 365 administration (including Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, etc.)
• Experience with Microsoft Active Directory, and Microsoft Group Policy management.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong analytical skills
• Ability to diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues
• Ability to multi-task and perform at a high level in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to work well independently as well as on a team
• Ability to meet project and department deadlines

Nice To Haves

• Knowledge or experience with Linux server operating systems
• Knowledge or experience with Ansible and/or other automation tools
• Knowledge or experience with incident management platforms (e.g., Service Now or Jira)
• VMware enterprise virtualization products

Responsibilities
