The Integrated Missile Defense Technology Group supports the Missile Defense Agency in the development, deployment, testing, and enhancement of Missile Defense systems that defend the United States, deployed forces, and allies from missile attacks. The group focuses on advancing Missile Defense elements to keep pace with rapidly evolving threats. Staff are involved in the development and integration of these elements from the analysis and characterization of the worldwide missile threat to fielding new capabilities. To achieve this, they perform system and component engineering, algorithm development, advanced technology prototyping, and validation of performance through testing and analysis. The Integrated Missile Defense Group is looking for an analyst for algorithm/architecture design, system analysis and performance trade-off, sensor data analysis and testing for several Missile Defense systems and/or an advanced decision architecture project for the Missile Defense Agency. Primary responsibilities will include the development and implementation of application programs for decision support, data reduction and analysis of recorded and simulated sensor data, and defense system performance optimization. The successful candidate will work on the development and evaluation of new techniques for missile defense systems. Work will involve support in the development of data analysis in areas that include signal processing and detection, machine learning and artificial intelligence, multiple target tracking, advanced decision architecture, weapon/sensor management, and system performance optimization for currently deployed and future missile defense systems. The Ballistic Missile Defense System Integration Group is looking for an analyst for algorithm/architecture design, system analysis and performance trade-off, sensor data analysis and testing for several Ballistic Missile Defense systems and/or an advanced decision architecture project for the Missile Defense Agency. Primary responsibilities will include the development and implementation of application programs for decision support, data reduction and analysis of recorded and simulated sensor data, and defense system performance optimization. The successful candidate will work on the development and evaluation of new techniques for ballistic missile defense (BMD) systems. Work will involve support in the development of data analysis in areas that include signal processing and detection, machine learning and artificial intelligence, multiple target tracking, advanced decision architecture, weapon/sensor management, and system performance optimization for currently deployed and future BMD systems.
