About The Position

The eClinicalWorks (eCW) System Analyst manages healthcare technology projects, ensuring they support organizational goals, comply with regulations, and are delivered on schedule. This role implements, optimizes, and supports the eCW EHR system while collaborating with clinical, operational, and revenue cycle teams to improve workflows and maintain compliance.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in healthcare IT, Information Systems, or related field
3–5+ years of experience supporting eClinicalWorks (eCW)
Strong understanding of clinical workflows
Strong understanding of ambulatory EHR systems
Proven experience managing cross-functional teams and vendor relationships
Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and multitasking skills
Proficiency with project management tools (MS Project, Smartsheet, Jira, Asana) and documentation tools (Confluence, Visio)
Exceptional communication skills with the ability to tailor messaging for clinical, technical, and executive audiences
Bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration, Information Technology, Business Management, or related field.
Experience with healthcare data analytics and reporting.
Familiarity with Agile, Waterfall, and hybrid project methodologies.

Experience with HL7 interfaces / API integrations
Familiarity with revenue cycle workflows
Experience with telehealth and patient engagement tools
Knowledge of regulatory programs (MIPS, HEDIS, etc.)
PMP, CSM, or equivalent project management certification.

Responsibilities

Configure, build, and maintain eClinicalWorks (eCW) modules including ambulatory workflows, order sets, templates, smart forms, and clinical documentation tools.
Optimize workflows to enhance provider efficiency, increase patient throughput, and improve documentation quality.
Lead and support eCW implementations, upgrades, and enhancements.
Coordinate with stakeholders for requirements gathering, testing, and go-live support.
Manage system changes using structured change management processes.
Collaborate with providers, clinical leadership, revenue cycle teams, and IT infrastructure and integration teams.
Act as a liaison between technical teams and clinical users.
Provide Tier 2/3 support for eCW-related issues.
Troubleshoot system, interface, and workflow issues.
Support integrations with labs, radiology, pharmacies, and third-party systems such as telehealth, billing, and patient engagement tools.
Work with APIs, HL7 interfaces, and data exchange processes.
Develop and maintain reports using eCW reporting tools.
Ensure data integrity, accuracy, and consistency.
Support quality reporting, regulatory compliance, and operational analytics.
Work closely with providers, clinical leadership, revenue cycle teams, and IT infrastructure and integration teams.
Act as a liaison between technical teams and clinical users.
