About The Position

The Systems Analyst manages assigned applications, servers and workstations through their lifecycle — requirements, testing, deployment, maintenance, troubleshooting and decommissioning. This role provides day-to-day technical support, coordinates with business stakeholders and vendors, contributes to project delivery and testing, and maintains operational documentation and runbooks.

Requirements

  • Associate degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field
  • Four or more years supporting production systems in enterprise or financial environments; or combination of applicable work experience, education, and certification.
  • Hands-on Microsoft Windows Server administration; experience with Linux and/or AIX.
  • Experience with relational databases as well as unstructured and semi-structured data
  • Experience supporting application stacks and vendor solutions.
  • Experience with IT service management tools.
  • Basic scripting or automation skills for operational tasks.
  • Demonstrated ability to independently support multiple production systems, owning availability, runbooks and test plans, vendor coordination, patching and upgrades, backup validation, and incident post-mortems.

  • Handles incidents and problems effectively; incidents are diagnosed, escalated appropriately, and resolved with clear documentation and root-cause follow-up.
  • Executes changes in a disciplined manner; upgrades, patches and deployments are planned and executed with clear test plans and minimal disruption.
  • Provides trusted user support; business users receive consultative, timely support and guidance.
  • Ensures operational readiness and compliance; runbooks and procedures are current and work adheres to regulatory and security requirements.
  • Participates in the IT on-call rotation and is responsible for incident resolution.
