We are seeking an experienced Systems Administrator with at least 10 years of systems administration experience and a technical bachelor’s degree to support operations in Annapolis Junction, MD. This role involves supporting the troubleshooting, maintenance, and administration of endpoint management systems, providing Tier 1 and Tier 2 Help Desk support, and delivering timely escalation updates. The administrator will also support dispatch and ticketing systems, ensure configuration management practices and compliance with security controls, and provide operational support for IT systems including monitoring, maintenance, and troubleshooting of various platforms. A key part of the role includes implementing security patches, vulnerability remediations, and compliance updates, participating in escalation and incident response, and configuring/maintaining UNIX, Linux, and Windows operating systems. Additionally, the role requires installing, updating, and patching operating system software, troubleshooting network components, and implementing system enhancements to improve reliability and efficiency. Maintaining documentation is also a crucial aspect of this position.
