About The Position

Cyber B.A.T. is seeking a System Administrator to support mission-critical environments by maintaining and optimizing enterprise Information Technology (IT) systems. This role is responsible for supporting daily operations, troubleshooting system issues, managing infrastructure, and ensuring the reliability, availability, and security of mission systems.

Requirements

  • Active TS/SCI Clearance with a current Maryland Polygraph
  • DoD 8570 compliance (IAT Level II certification or higher) required
  • Experience supporting implementation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of enterprise IT systems
  • Experience administering Windows and UNIX operating systems
  • Experience managing client/server environments, storage systems, networking equipment, and mobile devices
  • Experience providing Tier 1 and Tier 2 technical support in an enterprise environment
  • Experience diagnosing and resolving hardware, software, operating system, and network issues
  • Experience monitoring system performance and maintaining system availability
  • Experience configuring and maintaining network components and infrastructure
  • Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders

Responsibilities

  • Provide implementation, troubleshooting, and maintenance support for enterprise IT systems
  • Manage and maintain IT infrastructure, including servers, storage, network devices, and associated technologies
  • Monitor system performance and proactively identify, troubleshoot, and resolve technical issues
  • Support day-to-day operations of client/server environments, storage systems, networking equipment, and mobile devices
  • Provide Tier 1 (Help Desk) and Tier 2 (Escalation) technical support for end users and mission systems
  • Diagnose hardware, software, and operating system issues and drive incidents through resolution
  • Communicate issue status, resolution efforts, and system updates to customers, stakeholders, and agency leadership
  • Support dispatch systems and coordinate hardware troubleshooting and repair activities
  • Configure, administer, and maintain UNIX and Windows operating systems
  • Install, patch, upgrade, and maintain operating system software while ensuring system integrity and security
  • Configure and maintain network components to support reliable and secure operations
  • Implement operating system enhancements and infrastructure improvements that increase system performance, reliability, and availability
  • Collaborate with engineers, administrators, and mission partners to support evolving operational requirements
