About The Position

Cyber B.A.T. is seeking a System Administrator to support mission-critical IT systems and infrastructure. This role will provide Tier 1/Tier 2 support, troubleshoot and maintain UNIX and Windows environments, and optimize system reliability and performance. Cyber B.A.T. is a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business delivering engineering, cybersecurity, software, systems, and mission-focused consulting solutions to government customers and industry partners. Requirements

  • Active TS/SCI w/polygraph clearance
  • Bachelor’s degree: 10 years of relevant experience required OR High school diploma: 15 years of relevant experience required
  • Information Assurance Technical (IAT) Level II certification required.

Responsibilities

  • Provide implementation, troubleshooting, and maintenance support for IT systems.
  • Manage daily configuration and operation of IT systems and infrastructure.
  • Provide Tier 1 (Help Desk) and Tier 2 (Escalation) problem identification, diagnosis, and resolution.
  • Provide technical assistance to users accessing and utilizing IT systems.
  • Support day-to-day IT operations, monitoring, and problem resolution for client/server, storage, network, and mobile devices.
  • Provide support for the escalation and communication of ticket status to agency management and internal customers.
  • Provide support for dispatch system and hardware issues and remain involved throughout the resolution process.
  • Configure and manage UNIX and Windows operating systems and install/load operating system software.
  • Troubleshoot operating systems and network components while maintaining system integrity and reliability.
  • Implement operating system enhancements to improve system reliability and performance.
  • Optimize system operations and resource utilization.
  • Perform system capacity analysis and planning.
  • Provide in-depth troubleshooting and problem-solving for complex IT systems.
  • Provide detailed analysis and feedback to agency management and internal customers on escalated tickets.
