About The Position

ITC is a Woman Owned Small Business delivering exceptional consultation to the U.S. Government in Systems/Software Engineering, Cybersecurity Solutions, Mission Operations/INTEL Analysis, and Management Services in order to enable our customers to solve the most challenging problems. With continued growth comes opportunity, and we are currently searching for a Top-Secret SCI with polygraph-cleared Junior-Level System Administrator. As an Enterprise Infrastructure Support Systems Administrator, you will provide system administration solutions to meet required capabilities and you will create bills of materials, network designs and diagrams, and other documentation for new and updated installations. You will also work with network, storage, and server personnel to define new or modified solutions to complex problems; respond to requests for new systems to meet capacity and user requirements; and determine required power, space, cooling, and funding to meet these goals.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline from an accredited college or university and five (5) years’ experience as a SA in programs and contracts of similar scope, type and complexity is required.
  • Five (5) years of additional SA experience may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree.
  • DoD 8570 compliance with Information Assurance Management (IAM) Level I or higher is required.
  • Must have at least one (1) year of demonstrated experience in Modern operating systems and network architectures.
  • Must have at least one (1) year of demonstrated experience in certification and accreditation, architecture development and design, Risk Assessments and IA Metrics gathering.
  • Ability to optimize system operation and resource utilization and perform system capacity analysis and planning.
  • Ability to break down complex problem space, formulate technical strategies, build action plans, and track progress against established baselines to resolve technical challenges and meet customer expectations.

Responsibilities

  • Provide system administration solutions to meet required capabilities.
  • Create bills of materials, network designs and diagrams, and other documentation for new and updated installations.
  • Work with network, storage, and server personnel to define new or modified solutions to complex problems.
  • Respond to requests for new systems to meet capacity and user requirements.
  • Determine required power, space, cooling, and funding to meet these goals.
  • Configuring and managing Linux, Unix, and Windows operating systems.
  • Installing/loading operating systems software.
  • Troubleshooting, maintaining integrity of and configuring network components.
  • Implementing operating systems enhancements to improve reliability and performance.
  • Managing virtual servers through VMWare and similar hypervisor products.
