About The Position

The Junior System Administrator is central to keeping our teams connected, productive, and set up for success by delivering reliable, high-performing technology across the business. Supporting everything from troubleshooting and system optimization to onsite setups and new hire onboarding, this role partners closely with Pre-Construction, Project Management, Marketing, Accounting, and field teams. It is a hands-on, solutions-driven position focused on making technology work seamlessly for Ventana’s people and projects.

Requirements

Successful completion of a technology program or equivalent co-op practical experience.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Excellent organizational skills, with a strong focus on detail and results.

Nice To Haves

Having a Class 5 licence is an asset.

Responsibilities

Setting up and maintaining basic computer, network, and software systems (on-site or remote).
Troubleshooting and resolving common hardware and software issues.
Replacing or updating equipment and software as needed.
Supporting users by answering questions and resolving technical issues.
Using a ticketing system to log, track and manage support requests, ensuring timely resolution.
Maintaining an up-to-date inventory of IT equipment, software, and supplies.
Staying informed on basic IT trends and security best practices.
Creating and updating support documentation.
