About The Position

INSCOM executes mission command of operational intelligence forces; conducts worldwide multidiscipline and all source intelligence operations; delivers advanced skills training, linguist support, specialized quick reaction capabilities, intelligence related logistics, and communications in support of Army, Joint, and Coalition command and the National Intelligence Community. You will be part of a team that provides comprehensive automation/information technology support to the Data Capabilities Division (DCD) worldwide intelligence dissemination, data management, and knowledge management missions.

Requirements

  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • 3 years of experience with Windows Server 2016 or greater.
  • 3 years of experience Active Directory experience.
  • 3 years of experience with Windows desktop versions 10 and 11
  • 3 years of experience with Windows 365 Office
  • 3 years of progressively responsible experience in desktop support and administration, including supporting, troubleshooting, and managing workstations, monitors, VTC, and printers.
  • 3 years of experience with imaging operating system installations, installing software, patching software, and troubleshooting software configuration.
  • 3 years of experience with MS laptop imaging operating system installations, installing software, patching software, and troubleshooting software configuration
  • 3 years of experience with equipment inventory management and turn in process.
  • 2 years of experience with printer support and maintenance.
  • Experience working in government/DoD unclassified and classified environments.
  • Current TS/SCI with ability to obtain CI polygraph
  • High School Diploma
  • 3 years of experience
  • DoD 8140.03 IAT Level II/Intermediate certification (Security+)

Responsibilities

  • Perform installation, configuration, administration and monitoring of end-user IT automation equipment to include baseline imaging, performance optimization, patching, and updating of associated hardware and underlying operating systems.
  • Perform maintenance and functionality checks of two conference rooms to ensure computer, video-teleconference, and voice IT equipment are operational.
  • Submit and track related trouble-tickets while coordinating with external support directorates to restore functionality.
  • Identify, prioritize, track, and resolve end-user automation and information technology hardware and software issues and problems to maintain at least a 99% system availability rate.
  • Provide comprehensive inventory and automation capability matrices of DCD office workspace and associated automation equipment on a monthly basis or as requested.
  • Analyze technical support requests and provide possible technical solutions and courses of action within 10 business days of receipt of request. (delivery IAW CDRL A021-Technical Support Requests Solutions and Courses of Action).
  • Conduct testing of automation equipment and end-user applications immediately after configuration changes and software deployments to validate that changes and enhancements do not adversely affect system operation and performance.
  • Respond to customer support requests and contact customers by the end of the business day to confirm requirement receipt and provide an approximate time of completion.
  • Develop and maintain documentation which includes SOPs, TTPs, system architecture guides, and diagrams for all DCD end-user automation equipment and hardware configurations adhering to organizational templates and policies. CDRL A022- Update of SOPS, TTP, System Architecture Guides and Diagrams
  • Notify the Government of any unscheduled system outages within 30 minutes of each occurrence and record the outage to the operations log within four (4) hours.
  • Monitor and assume responsibility of trouble tickets assigned to the Desktop Support Administration branch, assign specific tickets for resolution, and prioritize tickets in line with organizational goals of maintaining 99% system availability rate.
  • Coordinate with Property Book Office to manage equipment issue and turn-in process for DCD end-user IT equipment.
  • Conduct asset inventory management and update existing database as required in the event of equipment adds, moves, and deletes.
  • Provide after-hours on-site support to respond to system/application malfunctions. The contractor shall have 2 hours after notification of an issue to respond to the workplace. If after two hours on site the issue is not resolved, the contractor shall escalate the issue to the Project Manager who shall provide hourly telephonic updates to the COR and TTM until the issue is resolved.
