About The Position

This role involves working on assignments that require considerable judgment and initiative, developing solutions to routine technical problems of limited scope under supervision. The administrator will maintain the smooth operation of multi-user computer systems, coordinate with network engineers, and monitor/manage systems backup resources. Responsibilities include performing systems security administration, interacting with customers, and potentially setting up administrator accounts, maintaining system documentation, tuning system performance, installing system-wide software, and allocating mass storage space.

Requirements

• BS and 0-2 years experience
• COMPTIA Security +
• Ability to obtain secret level security clearance

Nice To Haves

• Experience with supporting Backup system procedures
• Rubrik Backup & Recovery experience

Responsibilities

• Work on assignments requiring considerable judgment and initiative
• Develop solutions to routine technical problems of limited scope following detailed instructions, work is supervised.
• Maintain smooth operation of multi-user computer systems, including coordination with network engineers
• Monitor and manage systems backup resources, including daily backups, restores, CPU usage, disk usage, and response times to maintain operating efficiency.
• Perform systems security administration functions, including updating and patches OS and systems and software programs.
• Interact with backup customers.
• Setting up administrator accounts, maintaining system documentation, tuning system performance, installing system wide software and allocating mass storage space.
