About The Position

Arrow Security & Training LLC (AST) is a privately-owned training company with our corporate headquarters in Nashua, New Hampshire. AST is a Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) who provides tailored military training, training support, and a host of services to government and private sector clients worldwide. The Systems Administrator assist in providing a centralized approach to cross domain data transfer.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline from an accredited college or university is required or Five (5) years of additional SA experience may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree.
  • Ten (10) years’ experience as a SA in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity is required.
  • Information Assurance experience with at Five (5) years’ experience with the following: the design, plan, installation, configuration, and sustainment of a Red Hat Linux (RHEL) environment, the creation of automation scripts for configuration, backup, and restoration using well know scripting languages (for example bash/Perl), performing Puppet system administration, installing software from YUM repositories, RPM Files, tar-balls, or source code, researching, acquiring, and applying IAVA patches, using Unix/Linux command line, and VMWare architecture, Installation and configuration.
  • Experience with facilitating failover with VMotion, VMWare template library, and VMWare monitoring capability.
  • Must be a US citizen with a TS/SCI with Full Scope Polygraph

Responsibilities

  • Identify designs that enable deployment of repeatable and scalable solutions with minimal modifications for subsequent deployments
  • Receive request through the agency's tickets tracking system.
  • Review and approve or deny the request.
  • If approved, enter the requirement into the EGF requirements and tickets tracking system.
  • Interface with the customer to gain a thorough understanding of their CDS needs.
  • Participate in TEMs when necessary.
  • Analyze and process collected data, data samples, and diagrams.
  • Create a project folder on the share drive; include background, samples, and drawings
  • Engineer the most appropriate CDS.
  • Create dataflow placeholders.
  • Create dataflow tickets in the EGF requirements and tickets tracking system.
  • Write security policies.
  • Work closely with the Operations Team on quarantine issues and policy remediation.
  • Create innovative ways to optimize current solutions.
  • Maintain knowledge of all current CDS to create security policies.
  • Work with corporate stakeholders such as Y452 (Data Flow Management), Y421 (Enterprise Data Transport & Messaging Services), and Y452 (Data Flow & Routing Solutions) to determine dataflow and path information.
