About The Position

eClerx is seeking a team-oriented Loans operations candidate to join our team. The ideal candidate should have an understanding of the syndicated loans business and associated client service. Our operations professionals help build and handle syndicated loan products, processes, and services. The candidate will be expected to liaise with internal & external colleagues & clients across all areas including Front, Middle & Back Office. The scope of work includes Trade Support – supporting the growing trade operations; managing the trade life cycle from pre-closing to settlements, including block allocation, zero share activity, and related cash operations. Participation Servicing – managing life cycle events for participatory loans; providing services to manage mailboxes, process incoming notices, and related cash operations. Agency Servicing – scaling agency servicing operations; providing services to manage notices, mailbox communication, and related cash operations. Support residential mortgage warehouse and whole loan operations, including loan setup, trade support, funding, settlements, and related cash/reconciliation activities.

Requirements

• 1 to 5 years of experience in banking/financial services operations; exposure to syndicated loans, trade settlements, or cash reconciliation preferred.
• Good understanding of financial markets concepts and willingness to build expertise in loan syndication.
• Good logical and quantitative abilities with strong attention to detail.
• Working knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent professional experience
• Current subject matter experience or prior training experience

• Exposure to loan platforms (e.g., LoanIQ/ClearPar) and automation/RPA tools preferred.

• Good interpersonal and communication skills – ability to work effectively with team members, supervisors, and client counterparts.

Responsibilities

• Process daily transactions across Trade Support – trade life cycle from pre-closing to settlements, including block allocation, zero share activity, and related cash operations.
• Perform Participation Servicing activities – manage mailbox, process incoming notices, and execute related cash operations for participatory loans.
• Support Agency Servicing – process notices, handle mailbox communication, and perform related cash operations.
• Perform trade closing, settlements, and cash reconciliation activities with accuracy and within agreed timelines.
• Identify and escalate discrepancies, breaks, and exceptions to senior analysts/managers in a timely manner.
• Adhere to defined SOPs, checklists, and quality/control frameworks; maintain complete and accurate documentation.
