The Registrar/Switchboard Operator is responsible for customer service, registration of all ancillary departments and answering a multi-line phone.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required, plus one year of office/clerical support or experience working with the public.
Responsibilities
- Answers multi line phone and greets visitors for IMH.
- Page doctors and employees.
- Transfer calls.
- Announces all Codes.
- Calls on call employees for Home Health, Hospice and Home Care, as well as physicians.
- Registers Emergency Room Patients.
- Registers Outpatient Visits.
- Registers Inpatient Visits.
- Pre-registers Surgery Visits.
- Registers all lab drop offs.
