About The Position

Under the direction of the PBX Supervisor, operates switchboard and other equipment to ensure effective communication throughout the medical center. Exhibits the F.I.R.S.T. values (Friendliness, Innovation, Respect, Service, and Trust).

Requirements

• Excellent communication skills with clear, distinct voice and motor coordination required.

Nice To Haves

• Previous healthcare switchboard experience preferred.
• Computer knowledge helpful.

Responsibilities

• Relays and terminates incoming and outgoing calls.
• Operates the maintenance computer for emergency alarms.
• Controls distribution of departmental keys and ensures safekeeping of patient valuables.
