Requirements

• Ability to read and write and follow verbal and written instructions.
• Ability to speak and understand fluent English.
• Must have clear and pleasant speaking voice with excellent telephone etiquette.
• Public relations skills, manual dexterity and a good memory for numbers, protocols, and emergency procedures.

Responsibilities

• Answers the telephone as quickly as possible and effectively facilitates/transmits incoming and outgoing calls, using a clear and pleasant manner, appropriate communication skills, and following established procedures and HIPAA guidelines
• Locates individuals or transmit messages through pages, dial paging, direct calling, radio and intercom announcements
• Responds to alarms and emergency situations quickly and in accordance with established procedure, without the need to research procedures or ask for assistance.
