About The Position

PIVOT POINT INC. is seeking qualified candidates to fill a Full Time 1st Shift CNC Set-Up Operator/Programmer position due to an expected retirement. This role involves setting up and operating CNC machining centers and lathes, including Swiss Tsugami and Doosan. The operator will create and edit programs from blueprints, produce parts within specifications, and inspect parts using inspection equipment. Responsibilities include setting up CNC lathes, setting tools, installing/adjusting work holding, and determining work coordinates. The position also involves assisting and training other operators and working closely with engineering and the production manager. Cross-training to learn additional machinery is expected, with the ideal candidate being capable of producing samples on various machines. The ability to create CNC programs from scratch using software like PartMaker or FeatureCam is ideal. Experience in metal manufacturing is required, along with strong attention to detail and knowledge of producing quality parts with close tolerances. This is a Full Time 1st Shift position with hours from 5am to 3:30pm, Monday through Thursday, plus overtime as needed. Salary will be determined based on experience and qualifications. Candidates with a solid, long-term, consistent work history are preferred. Successful candidates must pass pre-employment and random drug testing.
