About The Position

FOSS Swim School is opening a new location in Parker, CO in August 2026 and is currently accepting Swim Teacher applications. The role involves teaching students lifelong swim skills, confidence, and safety in and around the water. The position offers structured, cohort-based training focused on the FOSS Swim Path Curriculum to build teaching skills and team connection. As a Swim Instructor, you will create memorable moments for children and adults by teaching life-swim skills in a fun, safe environment. The role requires an ability to improvise, play, and connect, as laughter is an important part of the teaching method. Requirements

Must be at least 18 years of age.
Comfortable working in a pool setting.
Work a minimum of 12 hours per week.
Positive attitude and high energy.
Practice good communication skills.

Nice To Haves

Experience interacting with children is preferred.
Aquatic background is preferred.

Responsibilities

Manage a class of 1-4 students by providing hands-on swim instruction (following the FOSS Swim Path curriculum), promote swimmer safety, and teach life-enriching skills.
Ensure a safe, engaging, and educational experience for students, similar to working in daycare or childcare settings.
Build partnerships and interact with the student’s parent or guardian on their progress.
