About The Position
Emler Swim and Gymnastic Schools is hiring a part-time Swim Instructor in Kansas City, Kansas. The role teaches children ages 6 months to 12 years swimming and water safety in a safe, fun, encouraging environment. Instructors train alongside an experienced mentor, teach weekly lessons, celebrate student milestones, and build positive relationships with students and parents. The job is active and involves being on your feet and in the pool. Paid hands-on training is provided; previous teaching or swimming experience is helpful but not required. Set shifts include evenings and weekends, with opportunities to pick up additional hours.
Requirements
- Love working with children and bring positive energy.
- Be reliable, safety-minded, and professional, with good communication skills.
- Be able to work evenings and weekends on a set schedule.
- Be comfortable in the water and active on your feet.

- Previous teaching or swim experience.
