Swim Instructor Indoor Pool
About The Position
SafeSplash Hershey is hiring a Swim Instructor to teach swimming skills using the Streamline Brands curriculum in a fun, positive manner. The role involves providing students and customers with continuous, positive corrective feedback, structuring class time to include repetition, reinforcement, and the introduction of required skills, and ensuring swimmer safety. The position requires being in the water for extended periods, actively engaging with swimmers, and assisting children in and out of the pool. The instructor may need to lift, push, or pull up to 75 pounds. The employer is willing to train candidates without previous swim-instruction experience. Current American Red Cross CPR-PR/AED and adult, swimmer, and infant First Aid certification are preferred; the employer will help the selected candidate obtain certification within 60 days of hire. The position may be based in Cornwall (Lebanon), Hershey, or Lititz; the listed Hershey location is 1021 Springboard Dr, Hershey, PA 17033.
Requirements

- Ability to work in Cornwall (Lebanon), Hershey, or Lititz.
Nice To Haves
- Previous swim-instruction experience is preferred; training is available.
- Current American Red Cross CPR-PR/AED and First Aid for adults, swimmers, and infants are preferred; the employer will help the hire obtain certification within 60 days.
- Experience teaching swimmers ages 6 months to 10 years and swimmers with special needs receives special consideration.
