About The Position

SafeSplash Hershey is hiring a Swim Instructor to teach swimming skills using the Streamline Brands curriculum in a fun, positive manner. The instructor provides students and customers with ongoing positive and corrective feedback, structures class time to include repetition, reinforcement, and introduction of required skills, and ensures swimmer safety. The role requires spending extended periods in the water, actively engaging with swimmers, and assisting children in and out of the pool. The role may be based in Cornwall (Lebanon), Hershey, or Lititz; the Hershey location is 1021 Springboard Dr, Hershey, PA 17033.

Requirements

Ability to be in the water for extended periods.
Ability to actively engage with swimmers and assist children in and out of the pool, including lifting, pushing, or pulling up to 75 pounds when needed.
Ability to work in Cornwall (Lebanon), Hershey, or Lititz.

Nice To Haves

Previous swim instruction experience; training is available.
Current American Red Cross CPR-PR/AED and First Aid certifications for adults, swimmers, and infants; assistance with certification is available within 60 days of hire.
Experience teaching swimmers ages 6 months to 10 years and swimmers with special needs.
Excitement about learning, growing, and building skills for the future.
