About The Position

Healthtrax Swim Academy is looking for enthusiastic, reliable, and passionate Swim Instructors to join our team! We are seeking instructors who genuinely enjoy working with children and families and who understand that swim lessons are about more than learning strokes — they are about building confidence, developing water safety skills, and creating positive experiences that swimmers will remember. The ideal candidate is someone who is energetic, patient, dependable, self-motivated, and comfortable working with swimmers of all ages and abilities. We are looking for instructors who take pride in their work, bring a positive attitude to every lesson, and are willing to go above and beyond to help each swimmer succeed.

Requirements

• Comfortable and confident in the water.
• Patient, encouraging, and able to adapt their teaching style to different swimmers.
• Can work effectively with children, teens, and adults.
• Bring positive energy and professionalism to the pool every day.
• Team players who are willing to support their fellow instructors and contribute to a positive department culture.
• Strong communication and customer-service skills.
• Comfortable communicating with parents and guardians about their child's progress.
• Understand that every swimmer learns differently and are willing to find creative ways to help each student succeed.
• Dependable, enthusiastic, passionate about working with children.

Nice To Haves

• Previous swim instruction, coaching, childcare, education, or recreational experience.
• Lifeguard certification.
• CPR/AED and First Aid certification.
• Experience working with children of varying ages and abilities.
• Knowledge of swimming fundamentals, water safety, and stroke development.

Responsibilities
