Aquatics - Swim Instructor

About The Position
As a Swim Instructor at the Y, you will help community members—especially children of all ages—gain confidence in the water, overcome fears, and build lasting skills. You will teach swim lessons that focus on water safety, stroke development, personal growth, and fun. Instructors serve as mentors to youth and help educate participants about potentially life-saving skills. Both staff and lead/supervisory roles are available; opportunities will be discussed during the interview process. A variety of flexible schedules are available.
Responsibilities
- Teach quality lessons focused on water safety, stroke development, personal growth, and fun.
- Develop positive relationships with participants and provide motivational support and guidance.
- Communicate goals and concerns with parents or guardians.
