About The Position

Goldfish Swim School Milford is hiring part-time and full-time Swim Instructor/Lifeguards. This role is responsible for helping children build confidence in the water while ensuring lessons are safe, structured, and positive. Families rely on this position for progress, protection, and a great experience in every class. The job involves teaching swim skills using the Goldfish Swim School curriculum, enforcing pool rules, monitoring for safety concerns, responding to incidents with first aid/rescue actions, tracking student progress and paperwork, and communicating with parents/guardians. Additional duties include basic deck setup, equipment care, and occasional light cleaning.

Requirements

• At least 15 years old
• Comfortable working with children; patient, upbeat, and dependable
• Strong communication and organization skills
• Must pass background examinations
• Lifeguard certification required
• CPR/AED certification required
• First Aid certification required

Responsibilities

• Teaching swim skills using the Goldfish Swim School curriculum
