About The Position

Carolina Sweepers is hiring a full-time Sweeper Truck Operator to maintain commercial parking lots and other commercial properties across the Carolinas and Georgia. The operator works independently on the third shift overnight, driving company vehicles and using light equipment. Routes may involve longer-distance travel between client properties. The role may suit candidates with truck driving, landscaping, or general labor experience, as well as those new to the field; training is available. The position requires working outdoors in varied weather and coming into contact with trash. Work begins at 9:00 p.m. and continues until the route is complete, typically between 5:30 a.m. and 7:30 a.m.; the end time is not guaranteed. Weekend and holiday availability is required except for Christmas. Employees must not work another job alongside this position. Applicants must pass a background check and pre-employment drug screen. The company provides safety equipment, including reflective safety vests, and equips trucks with beacon and work lights.

Requirements

No experience required.
Active driver license and clean driving record.
Availability to work weekends and holidays, except for Christmas.
Availability to work from 9:00 p.m. until the route is finished; the end time is typically between 5:30 a.m. and 7:30 a.m., but is not guaranteed.
Willingness to work outdoors in all kinds of weather and come into contact with trash.
Ability to send emails and use technology.
Cannot work another job alongside this one.
Must pass a background check and pre-employment drug screen.
