About The Position

Cadence is seeking a SW Program Manager to lead overall release management for Sign-off Products in the Digital and Sign-off Group. The role plans and tracks product releases through their stages, defines release scope, goals, and deliverables, and coordinates across R&D developers, Product Validation, Configuration Management, and Product Engineering to achieve milestones in a fast-moving environment. The position monitors and reports release progress to stakeholders, improves processes and productivity, removes bottlenecks, and tracks product quality metrics and indicators.

Requirements

Proficiency in program management and project management.
Background in software development and validation processes.
Experience coordinating across groups to achieve target timelines.
At least 8 years of program management experience.
Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering or Science.
Knowledge of theoretical and practical aspects of project management.
Knowledge of project management techniques and tools.
Direct work experience in a project management capacity.
Proven experience in people management.
Proven experience in strategic planning and risk/change management.
Proficiency in project management software.

Nice To Haves

10–15 years of experience preferred.
Master’s degree preferred.
EDA domain knowledge, including familiarity with tool development, support, and deployment.

Experience monitoring and improving software quality.
Experience using AI tools to build release infrastructure.
