About The Position

Reporting to the Chief Product Officer, the Senior Vice President, Product Management will serve in a key leadership role as a member of the Senior Leadership Team (SLT) and will have responsibility for leadership and strategic direction in the development, execution, enhancement, and management of the company's product portfolio. With responsibility for the expanding Product function, the SVP, Product Management must be passionate about the incubation, design, development, and launch of new SaaS products in the data and technology space. This person must bring a strong background in leading best-in-class teams that manage and own a product portfolio. This person will work to identify, design, and drive initiatives that grow Inovalon's business throughout the healthcare value chain and establish a positive impact on the organization's operating efficiency and profitability.

Requirements

  • Minimum fifteen (15) years of experience and a track record in product management and 12+ years of management experience.
  • Superior organizational/leadership skills; demonstrated ability to execute.
  • Requires critical thinking, advanced understanding of business functions, and detailed knowledge of data, analysis and performance metrics.
  • Requires in-depth knowledge of the industry, business strategies, and company objectives.
  • Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States as a condition of employment.

Responsibilities

  • Plans, develops and oversees enterprise-wide programs and operations for large, complex function(s) or business unit.
  • Plays a leading role in high-level organizational decisions and daily operations.
  • Sets and is accountable for financial plans and goals for assigned business unit or function.
  • Focuses on translating corporate objectives into strategic business plans for the business segment/function/ area based on knowledge of market and competitive trends.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and local, regional and federal regulations.
  • Directs execution in support of enterprise strategy, leveraging assets (people, technology, intellectual property, etc.).
  • Responsible for the coaching and professional development of leaders, succession planning and ensuring high performance levels within area.
  • Participates in the preparation of annual budgets and drives business dealings and internal/external relationships, as required.
  • Leads organization across functional boundaries at an enterprise and/or business unit level.
