About The Position

BGBx is seeking a leader to turn its AI transformation agenda into delivered outcomes and help establish an AI-first operating model. Reporting to and partnering closely with the EVP, AI Transformation, this role owns delivery of the AI initiatives BGBx undertakes, from planning and execution through deployment and adoption. The role also contributes to transformation strategy and brings field-level insight back to the leadership team to refine the strategy and approach. The position combines strategic contribution, hands-on leadership of complex programs, and assessment of how initiatives perform in practice.

Requirements

12+ years of professional experience, including at least 5 years leading complex programs, delivery, or transformation initiatives end to end.
3+ years managing and developing teams or leading cross-functional delivery groups.
Bachelor's degree required.
Demonstrated experience leading or delivering AI, data, or technology-enabled initiatives in a complex organization.
Experience managing external vendors or delivery partners against defined deliverables, timelines, and budgets.
Strong working fluency in AI and LLM ecosystems, agentic systems, and workflow automation sufficient to lead delivery credibly and challenge technical partners.
Program, project, and change-management expertise, including driving adoption of new ways of working.
Strong judgment in distinguishing signal from noise and translating ground-level observations into actionable insight.
Executive-level communication skills and a bias toward ownership, follow-through, and delivery.

Nice To Haves

An advanced degree, such as an MBA or a master's degree in a business, technical, or scientific discipline.
Experience in pharmaceutical, life sciences, medical communications, advertising, or another regulated industry.
A builder-operator approach, with enthusiasm for owning execution and leading transformation directly.

Responsibilities

Own delivery of AI programs and initiatives from mandate to deployment, including planning, sequencing, execution, and enterprise outcomes.
Coordinate internal teams, external partners, and vendors to deliver initiatives on time and to quality, while achieving adoption.
Contribute rigorous thinking to AI transformation strategy and shape options and recommendations.
Surface what is working, what is not, and what is emerging in the field, translating those observations into refinements to strategy and approach.
Manage delivery relationships with AI platform and implementation partners, holding them to committed deliverables and ensuring alignment with BGBx's strategy and standards.
Build and lead the team and operating rhythms needed to deliver AI initiatives reliably as the transformation scales.
