Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related technical field OR 3+ years of directly relevant technical experience.
  • Experience applying engineering principles to evaluate, adapt, or modify technical solutions.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively with distributed teams.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Valid U.S. driver’s license.
  • Ability to climb ladders/stairs and perform hands-on technical tasks.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Top-Secret security clearance.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with DoD programs, radar systems, or mission assurance environments.
  • BlueBeam and AutoCAD experience.
  • Experience with NDT, electronics, maintenance, or field engineering.
  • Familiarity with drafting work plans, procedures, or technical documentation.
  • Database management experience (DOORS preferred).
  • Basic coding or scripting experience.
  • Customer-facing engineering or technical support experience.
  • Prior experience in EMP/HEMP environments (highly valued but not required, training provided).
  • Applicants holding an active Dept. of Defense Secret or Top-Secret clearance are preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Perform engineering analyses with limited oversight to support project goals and system improvements.
  • Interpret, redline, and update drawings for UEWR and PARCS radar systems.
  • Use BlueBeam and AutoCAD to develop redline/blackline drawing packages.
  • Analyze current and future HEMP-hardened configurations for accuracy, compliance, and system effectiveness.
  • Maintain and update configuration data within the DOORS database.
  • Support Task Leads with system surveillance, troubleshooting, component evaluations, RF/NDT data analysis, corrosion control, and system function tracing.
  • Operate Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) instruments during inspections and field assessments.
  • Produce high-quality technical documentation including reports, work plans, site surveys, and as-built redlines.
  • Prepare and deliver technical briefings to internal teams and external customers.
  • Organize and lead meetings, ensuring clear communication and alignment across stakeholders.
  • Build and maintain strong professional relationships with customers and teammates.
  • Lead field deployments in a safe, OSHA-compliant manner.
  • Perform hands-on tasks including climbing ladders/stairs, using hand tools, and supporting maintenance activities.
