About The Position

A leading university is seeking a Sustainability Waste Coordinator. The successful candidate will support Waste Operations and Diversion Programs. The company offers a great work environment!

Requirements

2 years of relevant experience.
Bachelor’s degree.
A valid driver's license - the position involves driving 20–30% of the time.

Responsibilities

Support waste operations across R&DE properties, including service rightsizing, vendor coordination, waste diversion and monitoring performance.
Support strategies to reduce landfill waste, increase diversion, and support donation, reuse, and material recovery programs (e.g., Give & Go, surplus donation).
Track and analyze waste metrics, prepare reports, and identify operational improvements.
Design and develop signage, outreach, and communication of sustainability programs to relevant stakeholders.
Coordinate with Facilities, Housing Operations, and other units on operational sustainability needs.
