About The Position
The College of Earth and Mineral Sciences is seeking a temporary part-time professional to support and advance sustainability initiatives across the College. This position will provide leadership, coordination, and administrative support for sustainability-related programs, committees, strategic initiatives, and partnerships. The successful candidate will collaborate with faculty, staff, students, and University stakeholders to promote sustainability goals and support ongoing projects and activities.

- Employment with the University will require successful completion of background check(s) in accordance with University policies.
Responsibilities
- Support the development and implementation of college sustainability initiatives and strategic priorities.
- Coordinate sustainability-related committees, councils, working groups, and meetings.
- Collaborate with faculty, staff, students, and external partners to advance sustainability efforts.
- Assist with the evaluation, recommendation, and administration of sustainability-focused projects and funding opportunities.
- Represent the College on University committees and sustainability-related initiatives.
- Organize workshops, presentations, educational programs, and outreach activities.
- Support student engagement opportunities related to sustainability.
- Assist with sustainability recognition, awards, and special events.
- Monitor project progress, prepare reports, and communicate outcomes to stakeholders.
- Perform other sustainability-related duties as assigned.
