About The Position

The Sustainability Intern works at a farm and is expected to travel to and from the farm each day, regardless of weather. The role involves working with diverse groups, helping create inclusive and welcoming spaces, leading peers, communicating verbally and digitally, and completing tasks independently and on time. Outreach and event coordination are also part of the role.

Requirements

• Ability to lift 50 lbs.
• Ability to transport oneself to and from the farm each day regardless of weather.
• Experience working with diverse groups of people.
• Experience creating inclusive and welcoming spaces.
• Strong work ethic.
• Ability to meet deadlines and execute tasks independently.
• Positive attitude and ability to keep others motivated.

Nice To Haves

• Previous food, agriculture, or manual labor experience.
