About The Position

The Suspension/Lift Technician, also described as a Tire & Wheel / Alignment Technician or Service Specialist, oversees activity in the service and installation shop. The role ensures safety guidelines are followed, paperwork is completed, and shop inventory, products, tools, and equipment are maintained. It is a full-time opportunity with a family atmosphere, excellent pay, and potential for future growth. Compensation is listed as $18.00–$23.00 per hour, with another stated range of $35,000–$50,000 with bonus.

Requirements

At least 3 years of experience in the listed automotive service work.
Ability to lift 50 pounds unassisted.
Ability to lift and organize heavy product.
Valid state driver's license with a clean driving history.
Must pass a drug screen and background check.

Nice To Haves

ASE Certification is preferred but not required.
Prior experience as a tire technician, wheel specialist, automotive technician, auto tech, or alignment tech is helpful for success.

Responsibilities

Oversee all activity in the installation shop.
Follow shop safety guidelines and ensure they are followed.
Complete paperwork.
Maintain shop inventory, products, tools, and equipment.
Perform lift kit and leveling kit installations on trucks.
Install brakes.
Mount, balance, and install tires and wheels using tire mounting and balancing machines.
Install vehicle lifts and perform alignments and light front-end work.
Place product and supply orders.
Organize delivered merchandise.
Identify and properly tag returned products.
Clean and maintain returned products.
Maintain an organized inventory system and control parts spending.
Lift and organize heavy product.
