This position is responsible for preparing plans from the provided engineering sketches and details for projects. Immigration sponsorship or support (e.g. H1B, F-1 CPT/OPT/STEM OPT) is not available for this position, except for qualified candidates eligible for the TN visa classification. Compensation for this position is $25.00 - $45.00/hourly, commensurate with experience, education and certifications. The provided range is a good faith estimate based on the requirements described within the job description. Requirements

Must successfully complete and pass JMT's Motor Vehicle screening
Valid Driver’s License
Able to pass Background Check
High school diploma or equivalent
Proficient in AutoCAD and/or Microstation
Knowledge of design and drafting procedures

Nice To Haves

Technical school training with courses in computer-aided drafting
Experience in preparing plans related to Transportation projects

Responsibilities

Transfer engineering sketches and details to plans utilizing AutoCAD or Microstation
Makes basic engineering computations and prepares and revises specifications.
Make quality control corrections to contract drawings
Prepare exhibits for reports, public meetings or presentations
Perform other related duties as assigned
