The company is currently accepting applications for an experienced Surveyor to join its nested Capital Projects team in Deer Park, TX. This role involves planning, organizing, and directing surveying work to determine precise locations and measurements for construction map making and land division. Previous experience in a civil craft is preferred.

Requirements

  • TWIC Card REQUIRED.
  • High school or equivalent
  • One (1) to four (4) years of experience in specified skill
  • Advanced knowledge of Surveyor tools and equipment
  • Written pre-employment qualification test
  • Post-offer drug/alcohol screen and physical evaluation
  • Jobsite safety requirements as required by the client (clean shaven, long sleeves, steel toe boots, etc.)
  • Safety equipment as required by the client (hard hat, safety glasses, gloves, respirator, hearing protection, safety harness with lanyard, etc.)
  • Applicant/employee must not pose a direct threat to the health or safety of others in the workplace
  • Provides work control lines and elevations that are required for accurate measurement and correct installation of materials by construction workers
  • Provides checking of as-built conditions that require the use of surveying techniques
  • Provides topographic and cross-section surveys as required for planning and payment quantities
  • Provides quantity calculations as required
  • Prepares documentation of surveying activities
  • Maintains condition and adjustment of surveying equipment
  • Coordinates surveying activities to meet construction requirements
  • Must have knowledge of and ability to use all surveying equipment and techniques
  • Perform additional assignments per supervisor's direction
