About The Position

WHB Engineers is seeking a Surveyor/Party Chief with 10 or more years of experience to work on complex public and private projects. The role involves field surveying and receiving and processing client work orders. The successful candidate will be organized, dependable, versatile, able to work independently, team oriented, personable, and experienced in field surveying. The position works under general direction and requires union membership for field work.

Requirements

• 10 or more years of demonstrated surveying experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent customer service skills, including the ability to interact professionally and knowledgeably with clients and contractors.
• Field work requires union membership.
• Self-motivated and goal oriented, with strong attention to detail.
• Meticulous about the work produced.

Nice To Haves

• California PLS License or LSIT actively pursuing a California PLS License.

Responsibilities

• Work under general direction on complex projects in accordance with project requirements and surveying standards.
• Help ensure projects are on schedule, within budget, and meet client requirements.
• Perform field work for topographic and boundary surveys.
• Receive and process client work orders.
• Perform other duties as required.
