About The Position

Intertek, a leading provider of quality and safety solutions, is seeking a Survey Technician to join their Survey Services team in Houston, TX. This role offers a career in Surveying Services, supporting clients in the offshore and process industries to improve project duration, site safety, accuracy, field time, and rework. Intertek's Industry Services team provides Total Quality Assurance solutions to industries such as oil & gas, power generation, renewable energy, chemical, construction, and transportation. Key services include vendor inspection, site construction services, asset integrity management, non-destructive & materials testing, 3D laser scanning & dimensional control, and energy & water consulting services. This position requires travel of at least 50% of the time.

Requirements

A minimum of a High School Diploma or Equivalent is required
Valid driver’s license and reliable driving record is required
An aptitude for math, computer technology, construction, reading plans, etc.
Willing to learn and take direction from senior Surveyors
Comfortable working within the oil and gas industry both in a plant environment and Offshore
Ability to participate in a structured on-the-job training program to develop proficiency in the use of surveying knowledges, skills and abilities
