About The Position

Intertek, a leading provider of quality and safety solutions, is seeking a Survey Technician to join their Survey Services team in Houston, TX. This role offers a career in Surveying Services, focusing on providing innovative solutions to clients in the offshore and process industries. The Industry Services team utilizes technical expertise in sectors like oil & gas, power generation, and construction to offer Total Quality Assurance solutions, minimizing risks in quality, safety, and cost. Key services include vendor inspection, site construction services, asset integrity management, non-destructive & materials testing, 3D laser scanning & dimensional control, and energy & water consulting services. This position requires significant travel.

Requirements

A minimum of a High School Diploma or Equivalent is required
Valid driver’s license and reliable driving record is required
An aptitude for math, computer technology, construction, reading plans, etc.
Willing to learn and take direction from senior Surveyors
Comfortable working within the oil and gas industry both in a plant environment and Offshore
Ability to participate in a structured on-the-job training program to develop proficiency in the use of surveying knowledges, skills and abilities
